Jo McCauley, Executive Director
Jo McCauley began serving as the director of the Lewistown Area Chamber of Commerce in January 2020. Jo, her husband and their dog Heidi moved to Montana from West Virginia and are looking forward to establishing roots in the Lewistown community. Raised in Central Pennsylvania, Jo has lived in nine states and enjoys the challenges and learning that new experiences bring. Jo and her husband (retired - Army) have an adult son who recently followed them to Montana to make his home. Jo’s extended family is still in Central Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Charlie Denison, Charlie Russell Chew Choo Train Coordinator
Charlie Denison signed onto the Chamber of Commerce in June of 2020 to take on the position of Charlie Russell Chew Choo Train Coordinator. Also a musician, Denison regularly provides musical entertainment on the train.
Formerly the senior reporter at the Lewistown News-Argus, Denison has fallen in love with central Montana and is grateful to serve the community as a Chamber representative.

The Lewistown Area Chamber of Commerce, with broad support of the community, shall provide focused, cohesive leadership in Central Montana in order to achieve positive development and growth in the areas of business, agriculture, service, information, image, and the enhancement of the cultural, economic, social, recreational, and educational opportunities for all.
The Lewistown Area Chamber of Commerce is a private, non-profit, voluntary organization of business and professional people in Central Montana. These people have joined together for the purpose of promoting the civic, commercial, and industrial progress of our community:
1) To promote the free enterprise system,
2) To provide a healthy business climate in Central Montana,
3) To develop new programs to generate growth, and
4) To provide continuing leadership and cooperation in Central Montana.

While the greatest strength of the Chamber is its “Strength through Unity,” there are a variety of direct benefits to members as well.

This is accomplished through workshops, assistance and materials to improve your financial position. When the Chamber is contacted for referrals, only Chamber member names are given. Chamber members are also encouraged to do business with other Chamber members.
Members are encouraged to advertise their goods and/or services through the Chamber office. Provide your business cards, brochures, or other materials to the Chamber staff, and we will provide them to potential customers. Through visitor information, tourism/relocation packets, and special advertising options, you will reach a greater market for your business. Members are also frequently named in Chamber advertising.
Quality of Life
The Chamber works hard at providing the best services in Central Montana, whether recreation, transportation, education, or other important needs. We cooperate with the various federal, state, and local agencies on everything from highway designation to senior services. We want to keep Central Montana the best place for you to call home.
In the decisions affecting your business, whether on a local, county, state, or national level, the Legislative Luncheons, updates, and surveys give you a voice, while representatives from the Chamber attend meetings and address those issues you can’t.
Keeping You Informed
Members receive the monthly newsletter, with committee activities, business briefs, bulletins, and notices. Speakers, forums, and meetings focus on providing the latest info. The Chamber has census information, economic forecasts, and other data to keep you prepared.
Chamber of Commerce members are recognized as progressive, committed businesses and individuals in the area. As a Chamber member you tap into the network of business in Central Montana. The membership plaque on the wall and sticker in the window says you belong.
